This 2013 law review article explores the intersection of the SCRA and state laws intended to protect victims of domestic violence. The author argues that ex parte orders can be extended and that temporary orders for support, custody, and possession of property can be entered to protect the petitioner and the children although a stay under the SCRA is granted.
